Plant Controller
General
Responsibilities:
-Accountable for the management and accuracy of the following:
General ledger Monthly balance sheet Income statement and changes in financial variance analysis, resource utilization, etc -An in-depth understanding of standard tools for volume / mix / price and productivity analysis is required.
-Manages the financial Reporting (Month-end / Quarter-end) - reviews complex financial statements including balance sheets, profit, loss and evaluates recommended action in management/financial reports.
-Complete financial forecasting and determining monthly costs and savings opportunities.
-Complete special projects, including capital expenditure analysis, financial analysis, etc.
-Other duties as assigned Skills:
-Working knowledge of GAAP, FASB, SOX -Strong Organizational skills -Strong written and verbal communication skills -Supervisory/Leadership skills -Analytical ability Education / Training Required:
-Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance -CPA / MBA a Plus -5-7 years general accounting experience -Manufacturing experience preferred.
