Sports Equipment - Quality Assurance RTP Analyst - Katy (75028) - WorkInSports (Flower Mound, TX)
Description Supports the QA policy / procedures for operation and control in accordance to Academy Ltd.
Manuals and Ethics Policy s.
Directs overseas personnel towards QA factory audit requirements and evaluation parameters.
Oversees the RTP undue influence policy and training and conducts periodic factory audits for compliance.
Interfaces with control systems i.
e.
Clear Track to collect and control data.
Assist with developing and writing and publishes Product Technical File requirements for branded merchandise.
Formats detailed product specifications for current and new private label products.
Works in conjunction with the QA Testing and QA Inspection specialist & managers to ensure collaboration of Product Standards and Record Retention requirements.
Facilitates swift resolution with regard to policy / procedure findings by working closely with the buying and global sourcing teams, vendors, and QA management.
Facilities in-house and 3rd party testing labs' product performance testing for private label products.
Ensures harmonization of 3rd party testing protocols.
Maintains database, reports, filing, standards and procedures.
Participates in seminars and educational training to others in regards to business QA initiatives.
Participate in industry organizations discussions to stay abreast of events and revisions regarding compliance.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by adhering to sanitation policies and procedures.
Trains and supervises personnel for related area and responsibilities.
Limited domestic and international travel.

Qualifications Bachelor s degree preferred, in relevant field of study or equivalent years of related work experience required, preferably in a 3rd party testing company.
Minimum six years of related work experience required, preferably in a 3rd party testing company or ISA-PS company.
Knowledge towards quality assurance testing techniques and factory auditing and managing procedures Working knowledge of test methods and other product performance testing requirements for apparel, footwear and hard goods Understanding of, ability to interpret and practical application of Federal Requirements and industry practices to be compliant towards CPSC / CPSIA, RTP for children & adult products Ability to read and write, basic mathematical skills and comprehends instructions Ability to adapt and make decisions quickly and correctly to become compliant towards mandates deemed applicable to Academy Ltd.
Ability to communicate at all levels internally to external operations and vendors Strong background and interaction with 3rd party testing facilities Apparel, Footwear and Hardgood material understanding, components, construction and basic manufacturing methods and techniques Acceptable level of hearing and vision to perform job duties Communication effective listening, speaking and writing (Sports Management, Finance, Admin, Sports Marketing, Retail) Source:
