Director Human Resources

Human Resources Director is responsible for HR practices, policies and procedures, for hiring employees, coordinating personnel policies within an organization, and maintaining functions such as recruitment and organization procedures. Ensuring that Human Resources policies are implemented, reviewed and amended, as needed, based on changes to legislation and or internal processes and practices. Must have knowledge of applicable state and federal employment and labor laws and related compliance requirements. Proven ability to prioritize effectively between competing interests using sound decision making abilities. Experience exercising discretion; ability to maintain confidentiality, earn trust and build credibility with all organizational levels.
Major Duties include but are not limited to:
Work with ownership, department managers to recruit, interview and hire competent candidates
Interview candidates, administer pre-hire documentation and verify references
Plans and runs new employee orientation, with the aim of encouraging positive attitudes to company policies, procedures, company objectives as well as completing the required administrative documentation required.
Consults with and advise ownership, supervisors, managers, and directors on proper documentation for employee counseling's and termination paperwork
Represents the dealership at hearings and arbitrations regarding employees with ownership approval
Must be able to resolve wage claims
Maintains a professional appearance
Administering open enrollment of benefits, and safety programs
Advising dealership managers on policy matters, job duties, wages and opportunities for progression
Maintaining employee files in accordance with state and federal law
Must have experience and knowledge of Texas Workforce, Unemployment claims, appeals and hearings
Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations
Protect the interests of the company

SKILLS REQUIRED:
High energy level, comfortable performing multi-faceted projects in conjunction with normal activities
Strong level of interpersonal skills, tact, maturity, and flexibility
Ability to work under pressure, with a sense of urgency & ability to meet deadlines, self-directed
Good communication skills both verbally and written
A high level of organizational skills
Good leadership skills
Confidence in using IT software
Excellent management skills and knowledge of all human resource areas.
Upbeat and Positive personality; must possess ability to influence and motivate others.

Education / Experience / Benefits
Bachelor's Degree from an accredited four year college or university
5 Years' Experience as a Manager or Director of Human Resources

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
