30am - 430pm Summary of Position The Administrative Assistant II is a position directly responsible to the Executive Dean, Military Programs, who performs general administrative work and assists the Dean in all related functions.
Minimum Required Education High school diploma or GED is required.
Associate's Degree is preferred.
Minimum Required Experience High school diploma or GED and six years wage clerical/secretarial experience Or certification/successful completion of relevant trade school or (30 college credits) that is a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education and two years wage earning clerical experience Or Associate Degree from a nationally, regionally or identified at the state level accredited institution of higher education and one year wage earning clerical experience.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Work, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills.
Excellent planning and organization skills.
Ability to communicate effectively face to face or via email and telephone.
Ability to maintain confidentiality of all information.
Ability to set priorities, multi-task and meet deadlines.
