Job Description:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for general ledger accounting and reconciliation, financial reporting and analysis for assigned functional areas.
The Financial Analyst will work closely with internal customers cross:
functionally to ensure accuracy and communication of financial results.
Essential Functions:
:
Reconcile balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis to ensure accurate reporting and sound financial controls.
:
Ensure activity is properly recorded in the general ledger.
:
Assist with development and support of monthly forecasts, strategic plans, annual operating budgets, and other financial initiatives.
:
Compile data and assist with development, preparation, and analyzing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
:
Analyze actual expenses and prepare expense analysis and variance commentary against budgeted, projected and historical activity.
:
Prepare ROI analysis on projects and capital purchases.
:
Coordinate and ensure fixed assets are recorded in an accurate and timely manner.
:
Complete quarterly and annual Census surveys.
:
Follow and record internal controls to ensure compliance with Sarbanes:
Oxley 404 regulations.
:
Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent.
:

2 years of related professional experience.
:
Strong attention to detail, accuracy and reliability.
:
Excellent problem solving and analytical skills with the ability to take ownership of projects and tasks with high quality results.
