Job Description Role and Responsibilities Maintaining the General Ledger Preparing journal entries and performing and assisting others with complex reconciliations Month, quarter, and year-end close for multiple company divisions Maintaining and updating monthly reporting package for assigned division(s) Recording payables Managing collections for assigned division(s) Managing W-9's for new vendors Recording cash receipts Developing and distributing weekly sales report for assigned division(s) Generate monthly/quarterly/yearly P&L statements for assigned division(s) Carrying our special financial analysis projects, as needed Account variance analysis; cash flow analysis Assisting with revenue forecasting, budget development, inter-company reconciliations, and internal controls Preparing information for external auditors Skills and Experience Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business, Accounting, or Finance.
CPA is a plus Minimum five years' experience in public or general accounting and/or financial analysis Strong understanding of GAAP and advanced knowledge of standard accounting concepts, practices, and procedures.
High proficiency with Excel Ability to perform analysis on complex transactions Very strong organizational and communication skills Detail- and process-oriented Experience with Microsoft NAV or equivalent ERP a plus.
Skill in using financial reporting tools.
Cost accounting experience is a plus.
