Research Investigator 1
The Baylor Scott and White Research Institute s Center for Research in Vaccines and Infections is looking for a doctoral level Clinical Investigator.
The Center has a broad vision of research in epidemiology and prevention, diagnosis, and management of infectious diseases in children and adults.
The current scope is vaccine effectiveness and safety research in pediatric and adult populations and an emphasis on interdisciplinary and translational research in respiratory viral infections and leadership training.
Specialization and experience in the following is preferred:
vaccine clinical trials, vaccine effectiveness and safety, infectious diseases, disease prevention, and respiratory infections.
Our ideal candidate will have a MD/DO with at least 2 years of research fellowship training in infectious diseases, pediatric infectious diseases, or related field or PhD degree in Epidemiology, Public Health, or related field with a strong record of research including a focus on study design, data analysis, or methodological development of epidemiologic studies.
Candidates with formal training and/or experience in both epidemiology and biostatistics are preferred.
Qualified candidates will have a strong record of research productivity including publications and grant contributions and potential for development of an independent research program.
Candidates should have strong communication, project management, and team leadership skills.
Preference will be given to candidates with experience and/or strong interest in interdisciplinary research.
The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to and further develop an extramurally funded, independent research program, mentor team members/residents in training/junior faculty/graduate students, and develop interdisciplinary collaborations and engage in clinical research service activities.

QUALIFICATIONS- EDUCATION - Doctorate- EXPERIENCE - 2 Years of Experience Associated topics:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
